Star Wars the Old Republic is a MMO role playing game set in the Star Wars universe. This game has a vast content, and for many players having some sort of
SWTOR guide may help them wrap their mind around the immensity of the game.
If you chose to join the Sith Empire you will spear head the conquest of the galaxy for the greater glory of the Dark Side, and yourself of course. While the Republic will oppose you every step of the way.
Sith Bounty Hunters aim to bring the money in, maybe gain a little notoriety along the way, and command fear from every corner of the galaxy. Their skills and cunning nature makes them a dangerous foe under any circumstances. On the other hand, the Sith Warriors are the sword of the Sith Empire. Powered by the Dark Side these fearless combatants seek to lay low the Republic and destroy the Jedi who stand in the way of Imperial conquest.
As for the other Sith Empire classes, the Imperial Agents wage a silent war. The spies, and assassins of the Sith Empire these cold blooded warriors thrive in the darkness. The Sith Inquisitors are the masters of the Dark Side. These agents of the Empire reside in council rooms, dungeons, and battle fields alike. While they may seem frail on the surface their mastery of dark powers makes them deadly.
The other available faction, the Galactic Republic, stands as the foil to the Sith Empire and the Republic has people of its' own warriors to oppose the Empire.
The Republic Troopers are the back bone of resistance to Sith Domination. Their elite battle skills and determination allow them to defy the Empire. Smugglers may have a me first attitude, but they make it very clear that they don't want the Empire to hold the galaxy. Surviving on brains and luck more than brawn a Smuggler provides versatility to the Republic forces.
The Jedi Knights are the fabled guardians of the Force. Armed with their lightsabers and unmatched skill these valiant knights lead the charge against the Sith. Similarly, the Jedi Consular has spent much of their mastering the powers of the Force. Their ability and insight help keep the Republic on track both in politics as well as warfare.
This overview of classes is by no means a full Star Wars the Old Republic guide. For a better understanding of the vast world that the game represents search for a
